SARA HEIMLICH serves as a Senior Policy Analyst specializing in energy, climate, agricultural, and environmental policy. She provides coverage on congressional hearings, monitors legislation, tracks regulatory activity, and authors a weekly Climate and Energy Roundup detailing the latest relevant news and updates. Overall, she helps renewable energy companies craft policy strategies to translate their priorities into clear, persuasive messaging on the Hill.
Sara joined Tiber Creek Group as a Research Assistant in July 2023 and was promoted to Policy Analyst in December 2023. She was then promoted to Senior Policy Analyst in July 2025. Prior to joining the firm, Sara interned with the Institute for Energy and the Environment at Vermont Law School, where she conducted policy research related to agrivoltaics. She also spearheaded the first successful solar initiative on her university’s campus. Sara received her B.A. in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Tulane University.
