On September 30, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized the GLOBE (Global Benchmark for Efficient Drug Pricing) Model after some speculation earlier this summer that it would be further delayed. The final version of the GLOBE Model, which will test Most-Favored-Nation (MFN)-aligned rebates in Medicare Part B, is expected to yield significantly less savings and apply to only a handful of drugs and manufacturers after a slate of new and confirmed exemptions from the model.
