On July 14, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the Calendar Year 2027 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. In addition to the annual payment change, CMS proposed several other changes and policies relevant to value-based care and the Medicare Shared Savings Program, overall payment methodology, further alignment with MAHA principles, and more. The proposed rule also includes implementing rules for provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) that limit Medicare eligibility for certain immigrants.
